The brainchild of Jade Bassix, So Broken Recordings, the electronic-music based record label was officially launched in May
2004. Making its mark as one of the very first all-genre inclusive female-owned electronic labels in North America.
But in reality So Broken's uniqueness puts itself into a category all its own. Jade Bassix has gone to great lengths to
build a mini musical empire, complete with a versatile record label and internet radio
station, carefully considering each phase since So Broken was only a mere thought.
The groundwork has long been laid for her record label that will focus primarily on releasing drum and bass, breakbeats,
techno, and electro. So Broken Recordings' intent is to bring out the talented producers, DJs, and vocalists that the Pacific
Northwest has to offer.
